Understanding your results
Most results are normal. An abnormal result usually shows minor changes or infection — not cancer — and may need a repeat test or further evaluation. At PMC Path Lab, Pap smears are reported under Dr. Anushree Rai, whose memberships include international gynaecologic cancer and pathology societies.
